Lincoln Chapter-American Guild of Organists

A rising young artist within the organ world, Elena Baquerizo will partner with the Van Daalen organ (1991) of First Lutheran for an afternoon of exciting music making. Baquerizo holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from Juilliard, where she studied with Paul Jacobs, and is pursuing her DMA with Ken Cowan at Rice University. She has been the recipient of several organ performance awards, such as the Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival, M. Louise Miller-Paul E Knox Scholarship, and the AGO/Quimby RCYO. Currently, she is organist at Queen of Angels Church in Dickinson, Texas.
